Stephen A. "Steve" Harris

Stephen A. "Steve" Harris, 65, of Big Cove Tannery, PA passed away Friday, November 27th, 2020 at his residence. 

     Steve was born in McConnellsburg, PA on August 26, 1955, the son of the late Bertha (Reed) and James E. Harris.  He was the husband of Michelle K. "Shelly"  (Seville) Harris whom he married on April 9, 1977.

     He served in  the United States Air Force.  Upon discharge, he worked in construction.  In his spare time, Steve enjoyed hunting, horseback riding and listening to bluegrass music.  However, his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.  Steve was always the first to lend a hand to family and friends.

     In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Lisa M. (wife of Kevin) Skiles, of McConnellsburg, PA, Sara L. Harris, of McConnellsburg, PA, sisters Norma (wife of Ronald) Smith, of Kernersville, NC, Mona (wife of Manning Tillman) Harris , of Kernersville, NC, Donna (wife of Dan) Leonard, of Kernersville, NC, Linda Ricketts, of Laurel, MD, grandchildren Gionna and Aries Harris, two nieces and one nephew.  Steve was preceded in death by sister Janet Gray.

     Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
