San Tone Conners

  San Tone Conners, 82, of Harleysville, PA and formerly of Harrisonville, PA passed away Saturday, February 27th, 2021 at Abington Hospital, Abington, PA.

     San Tone was born in Trenton, MO on May 22, 1938, the son of the late Hazel M. (Stewart) and Roy  E. Conners.  He was the husband of Barbara Ellen (Hazelwood) Conners, whom he married on May 22, 1965.

     He was a member of the McConnellsburg United Methodist Church, McConnellsburg, PA, the American Legion Post #561, McConnellsburg, PA and the FRA Post # 87 Bedford, PA .  He served in the United States Navy for twenty years.  He was a retired engineer.    

     In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Samuel Darren (husband of Tish) Conners, of Shippensburg, PA,  David Joel (husband of Barbara) Conners, of Pottstown, PA, George C. Conners, of Ephrata, PA and a  sister in law Carolyn Conners of Hannibal, MO.  He is also survived by two step grandchildren; Arizona and Cainan and one step-great grandson Roger.  He was preceded in death by a brother Jim B. Conners. 

     Services will be private and interment will be at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA with Pastor Joshua Davinsizer officiating. 

     Military honors will be conducted by the Fulton Honor Guard.

     The family requests the omission of flowers and to make a contribution to a charity of one's choice in memory of San Tone Conners.
