Robert J. "Bob" Ramsey

 Robert J. "Bob" Ramsey, 76, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Sunday, July 26th, at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.

     Bob was born in McConnellsburg, PA on May 23, 1944, a son of the late Gladys I. (Fleming) and John W. Ramsey.  He was the husband of Sandra L. (Zeger) Ramsey, whom he married on May 27, 1970.

     Bob served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He was of the Protestant faith, attending the McConnellsburg United Methodist Church in his earlier years.  He was a lifetime member of the McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Company,  and a member of the American Legion Post 561, McConnellsburg, PA.  Bob loved his family, and especially loved watching his grandchildren at their sporting events.  

     In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Brian K. Ramsey (companion of Molly Schooley), of McConnellsburg, PA, Jason S. (husband of Christina) Ramsey, of McConnellsburg, PA and sister Evelyn Zeger, of McConnellsburg, PA.  He is also survived by four grandchildren Braxton, Emma, Landon and Brayden.  He was preceded in death by brothers Richard "Dick" Ramsey and Carl "Cub"Ramsey.

     Services are private at the convenience of family.
