Richard H. "Dickie" Glenn, 71, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Friday, January 22nd, 2021 at UPMC Altoona, Altoona, PA.
Dickie was born in Chambersburg, PA on October 20, 1949, the son of the late Marjorie F. (Culler) and Ralph Glenn. He was the husband of Pamela K. (Hollenshead) Glenn whom he married on May 1, 1976.
He was a very faithful member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Big Cove Tannery, PA and also was a dairy farmer all of his life. Dickie was a lifetime member of the McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Company, former member of the Fulton County Sportsmans Club, member and former board member of the Fulton County Farm Bureau, former board member of the Fulton County FSA and was a former president of the Fulton County Milk Promotion Board. He also was a member of the Williamson Ruritan Club, the Rocky Mountain Hunting Club, the American Legion Post #561 in McConnellsburg, PA and the VFW Post #655 in McConnellsburg, PA. Dickie enjoyed hunting, giving rides to his grandchildren and socializing with his friends. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren play soccer, basketball and baseball.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Jeffrey S. (husband of Crystal) Glenn, of McConnellsburg, PA, Thomas R. (husband of Erin) Glenn, of McConnellsburg, PA, brothers David Glenn, of McConnellsburg, PA, Michael Glenn, of Big Cove Tannery, PA, grandchildren Lainnie, Hoyt, Danica and Heath Glenn.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 27th, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Big Cove Tannery, PA. Please follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 restrictions.
Religious service will be Wednesday, January 27th, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 14660 Great Cove Road, Big Cove Tannery, PA with Deacon Meredith Shives officiating.
Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in care of Karen Shives, 364 Ravensburg Road, McConnellsburg, PA 17233.
