Randall N. "Randy" Clever

     Randall N. "Randy" Clever, 64, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Saturday, June 4th, 2022 at Family Hospice of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA.
     He was born in McConnellsburg, PA on December 3, 1957, the son of the late Patricia I. "Pat" (Snyder) Weaver and Randall N. Clever.  He was the husband of Diane K. (Johnson) Clever whom he married on December 22, 1979.
     Randy retired after twenty years with the Fulton County Probation department as the Community Service Coordinator.  Randy led by example and was frequently seen working along side of the people he was responsible for overseeing, on community service detail. We joke that he served the longest sentence of community service of anyone in Fulton County. Prior to Fulton County, Randy was instrumental at the recon shop at Handy Andy's, which led to him being affectionately known as Handy Randy.  Randy started his career after high school at JLG Industries. 
     He was actively involved in the community and was beloved by all who knew him.  Randy was a member of the Masonic Lodge #774, a member of the former Jaycees Club and served on the Fulton County Fair Board. Randy was highly engaged with the Fulton County Camp Cadet, serving on their board. An avid golfer, Randy enjoyed social activities, particularly spending time with the breakfast clubs at Johnny's Diner, where he was known to go table to table, enjoying friendship and camaraderie while sharing his tremendous sense of humor.  Member Emeritus of Buck's Body Shop, where he and Diane have hosted the twice weekly weight lifting and social crew at their residence for more than 20 years. 
     Randy was fun loving, enjoying teasing his family and dear friends. Always willing to pitch in, if he was needed, Randy was always there to answer the bell.  Most of all, Randy was a spectacular son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.  
     In addition to his wife, Randy is survived by his daughter Amber (wife of Timothy) Souders, of McConnellsburg, PA, sister Marie (wife of Mike) McQuade, of McConnellsburg, PA, brother Robert Kelly (husband of Mary) Weaver, of Mooresville, NC and grandson Adam N. Souders, of McConnellsburg, PA.  Randy was preceded in death by step-father Robert C. "Buck" Weaver and in-laws John B. and D. Joan Johnson.
     A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM  at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA with a masonic service being held at 7:30 PM.  There wil also be visitation one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home. 
     Religious Service will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 9th, 2022  with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating. 
     Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.
