Obituary

Mae E. Rouzer, 92, of Harrisonville, PA passed away with the family keeping their promise for her to be at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022. 
     Mae was born in Huntingdon, PA on August 31, 1930, the daughter of the late Mildred (Newman) and Warren  Murphy.  She was the widow of Kenneth "Vernon" Rouzer whom she married on October 2, 1948 and he passed away on August 6, 2022.
     She loved her family, traveling with her husband, gardening, cooking and baking. Mae also loved sharing a birthday with her first granddaughter, which was always a fun time.
     Mrs. Rouzer was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was always so proud and happy for everyone's accomplishments.  After several heartbreaking incidents in her life, Mae perservered and up until the end, her thoughts were for everyone else. 
     Mae is survived by daughters Gwen (wife of Dane "Butch" Seiders, of McConnellsburg, PA, Glenda A. Rouzer (companion of Doug Hammond), of Harrisonville, PA, sons Gary A. (husband of Carol) Rouzer, of Harrisonville, PA, Gale A. Rouzer, of Harrisonville, PA, Gregory "Chip" Rouzer, of Harrisonville, PA, thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.  Mae was preceded in death by brother Willis "Dimp" Murphy.
     Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
