James W. Divelbliss, Jr.

James W. Divelbliss, Jr., 76, of State College, PA and formerly of Warfordsburg, PA passed away Monday, August 12th, 2019 at Hearthside State College Nursing Home, State College, PA.

     James was born in Warfordsburg, PA on March 9, 1943, the son of the late Mabel (Gordon) Divelbliss and James W. Divelbliss, Sr.  He was the husband of Faye M. (Layton) Divelbliss whom he married on April 7, 1967.

     Mr. Divelbliss attended the Asbury United Methodist Church in Harrisonville, PA.  He enjoyed watching go-kart racing and all motor sports.

     In addition to his wife, he is survived by son James W. Divelbliss, III, of Needmore, PA, daughter Carlotta M. Bingman, of Chambersburg, PA, sister Beverly Jean Hiles, of Needmore, PA, Marcella Louise Willoughby, of Hancock, MD, grandchildren Brian, Timothy, Joshua, Dennis, Tiffany and Steven, four great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.  James was preceded in death by sister Sandra Sue Divelbliss and brother LeRoy Frank Divelbliss.

     Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 17th, 2019  with Pastor Donald Bard officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before the service on Saturday.

     Interment at Ebenezer United Methodist Cemetery, Needmore, PA.
