Jack B. Wink, 83, of Berkeley Springs, WV, passed away Thursday, November 5th, at Washington D.C. Veterans Hospital.
Jack was born in Needmore, PA on July 2, 1937, a son of the late Elizabeth (Schooley) and John Wink. He was the husband of Charlotte L. (Smith) Wink, whom he married on May 14, 1988.
He served in the U.S. Navy, was a member of the American Legion in Berkeley Springs, WV and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hancock, MD where he also was a custodian for twenty years. Jack loved to hunt and fish, spend time with his family and he also enjoyed playing music with his fiddle.
In addition to his his wife, Jack is survived by his daughter Cheryl (wife of Gary) Stevenson, of Florida, son Steve Wink, of Florida, step-son Darin (husband of Debra) Hess, of North Carolina, sister Carol Green, of Virginia, brothers Larry Wink, of North Carolina and James Wink, of Florida. Jack is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Rodger Wink and granddaughter Sophia Wink.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
