Ivan Mumma Obituary
Ivan Kenneth Mumma, 87, of McConnellsburg, PA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 8th, 2017 at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA.
Ivan was born in McConnellsburg, PA on September 3, 1930, the son of the late Goldie Blanche (Kelso) and George Daniel Mumma. He was the husband of Polly B. (Fagley) Mumma whom he married on November 1, 1952.
He was a devoted member of the Pleasant Ridge Nazarene Church in Harrisonville, PA for over fifty years and was a computer operator at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, PA.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Daniel Mumma of McConnellsburg, PA, David Mumma of Harrisonville, PA, Leon Mumma of Hustontown, PA, daughter Anna Mumma of McConnellsburg, PA and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sons William LeRoy Mumma, John Lewis Mumma, brothers John, Veryl and Wayne Mumma, sisters Beulah Strait, Georgie Toasten and Betty Anderson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 11th, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA. There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Thursday at the church.
Funeral service will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Ridge Nazarene Church, Harrisonville, PA with Pastor Mark Smith officiating.
Interment at Pleasant Ridge Nazarene Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Ridge Nazarene Church in memory of Ivan K. Mumma, 5806 Pleasant Ridge Road, Harrisonville, PA 17228.
