Harold Lewis Fix, Jr.

Harold Lewis Fix, Jr., 68, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 at his residence.

     Harold was born in McConnellsburg, PA on July 5, 1952, the son of the late Faye (Zimmerman) May and Harold L. Fix.

     He was a member of the Teamsters Union in Harrisburg, PA, was a heavy equipment operator for P&W Excavating and Brake Construction before retiring from Waste Connections, Inc in Chambersburg, PA.  Harold enjoyed hunting and watching drag racing.

     Harold is survived by daughters Crissy A. (wife of Joshua) Diffenderfer, of Fayetteville, PA, Heather D. (fiance Chester Mills) Fix, of Hagerstown, MD, brothers Terry L. (husband of Vickie) Fix, of McConnellsburg, PA, Tim L. (husband of Susan) Fix, of Hustontown, PA, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.  He is also survived by his former spouse Saundra (wife of Gaither) Robinson, of Smithsburg, MD.  Harold was preceded in death by his other mother Florence (Welsh) Fix and sister Laraine Chaney.

     Graveside service at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 4th,  2020 with Pastor Chris Elliott officiating.  If attending, it is encouraged to bring a lawn chair and follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19.
