Grace Louise Sipes, 90, of Berkeley Springs, WV went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA surrounded by her family.
Grace was born in Chambersburg, PA on September 19, 1930, the daughter of the late Isabelle (Stoner) and William Miller.
She was a member of the Winchester First Church of the Nazarene and a former member of the Pleasant Ridge Church of the Nazarene in Harrisonville, PA. Mrs. Sipes was a seamstress at several local sewing factories, a nursing aide at the former Deckers Nursing Home and she also was a homemaker. Grace enjoyed reading, gardening, her flowers and spending time with her family.
Grace is survived by daughters Barbara J. (wife of Willis) Swope, of Berkeley Springs, WV, Susan M. (wife of Kirk) Blenard, of Hagerstown, MD, Diane K. Sipes, of McConnellsburg, PA, Marietta A. (wife of Ron) Swartz, of New Bloomfield, PA, half-sisters Wilma Runk, of Orrstown, PA, Helen May Banzhoff, of Florida, Virginia Wadel, of Orrstown, PA, half-brothers Roy and Charles Miller, both of McConnellsburg, PA, grandchildren Eric Swope, Jennifer Hardman, Lori Mutiga, Becky Barkley, Lindsay Dadario, Erica Blenard, Tiffany Galloway, Bradley Sipes, Adam Swartz, Andrew Swartz and twenty great grandchildren. Grace was preceded in death by infant son Paul Sipes, sisters Mary Sipes, Betty Kuhn, Ruth Garner, brothers William and George Miller, half brother John Miller and son-in-law Larry Sipes.
Religious Service at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Nazarene, Harrisonville, PA, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021 with Pastor Josh Shadle, Pastor David Kessell and Pastor Mark Hardman officiating.
Visitation will be one hour before the service on Wednesday at the church. Please follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19.
Interment at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Nazarene Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA.
