Geraldine Palmer

Geraldine Palmer, 94, a resident of the Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care Unit and formerly of Warfordsburg, PA passed away Monday, December 14th, 2020 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.

     Geraldine was born in Needmore, PA on October 6, 1926, the daughter of the late Stella (Garland) and Webster Hess.  She was the widow of Frank W. Palmer whom she married on August 31, 1946 and he passed away on January 5, 2019.

     Mrs. Palmer was a former member  of the Pleasant Grove United Christian Church in Warfordsburg, PA.  Geraldine was a homemaker and also helped her late husband run the family farm.  She enjoyed gardening and canning.  In her later years, she loved cooking delicious meals for her family.

     She is survived by daughter Jocelyn (wife of Ed) Goodman, of St. Thomas, PA, granddaughter Erin (wife of Matt) Martin, of Mercersburg, PA, great grandchildren Mitchell and Mason Martin.  Geraldine was preceded in death by infant son Kevin Palmer.

     Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral services and interment at the Pleasant Grove Christian Cemetery in Warfordsburg, PA will be private.
