Obituary
Gale L. Mellott, Sr., 75, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Thursday, June 8th, at the Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care, McConnellsburg, PA.
Gale was born in Huntingdon, PA on February 13, 1948, a son of the late Alma L. (Stains) and Robert L. Mellott. He was the husband of Carol A. (Mellott) Mellott, whom he married on June 29, 1970.
Gale was an avid hunter. He enjoyed woodworking and camping.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Gale L. Mellott, Jr. (companion of Len Shields) of McConnellsburg, PA, daughter Marcie J. (wife of David) Ritchey, of Crystal Springs, PA, sisters Doreen (wife of John) Smith, of NC, Diane (wife of Edgar) Dunn, of Italy, brothers Lindsay (husband of Viola) Mellott, of McConnellsburg, PA, Duane Mellott, of McConnellsburg, PA, Barry Mellott, of McConnellsburg, PA, Ronald (husband of Sue) Mellott, of Emporium, PA and Edwin Mellott, of Fort Loudon, PA. He is also survived by five grandchildren; Taylor (wife of Amanda) Mellott, Nick Kinslaw, Justin Mellott, Erick Babcock, Darius Hadnovich, six great grandchildren Braydn, Braxton, Colton, Hunter, Reagan and Weston.
Services will be private at the convenience of family.
