Frank W. Palmer, 92, of Warfordsburg, PA passed away Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA.
Frank was born in Warfordsburg, PA on March 19, 1926, the son of the late Belva (Akers) and John Palmer. He was the husband of Geraldine (Hess) Palmer whom he married on August 31, 1946.
Mr. Palmer was a member of the former Pleasant Grove Church of Christ in Warfordsburg, PA, the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and also had memberships in numerous agricultural and conservation organizations. He was a dairy farmer all his life and after retiring, he was a honeybee inspector. Frank was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter Jocelyn (wife of Ed) Goodman, of St. Thomas, PA, granddaughter Erin (wife of Matt) Martin, of Mercersburg, PA, great grandchildren Mitchell and Mason Martin, sister-in-laws Marjorie Palmer, of Chambersburg, PA and Myrna Palmer, of Hagerstown, MD. Frank is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by infant son Kevin Palmer, sisters Marie Crist, Reba Hill, Blanche Morse, brothers Warren, Hayes, Charles and Gorman Palmer, two infant brothers John and Samuel Palmer.
Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment at Pleasant Grove Christian Cemetery, Warfordsburg, PA.
