Faye M. Divelbliss

    Faye M. Divelbliss, 76, of State College, PA and formerly of Warfordsburg, PA, passed away Sunday, April 23rd, at Embassy of Hearthside, State College, PA.

     Faye was born in Warfordsburg, PA on September 5, 1946, a daughter of the late Margaret (Hauman) and Roosevelt  Layton.  She was the widow of James W. Divelbliss Jr., whom she married on April 7, 1967.  He preceded her in death on August 12, 2019.

     Faye was a homemaker and she was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Harrisonville, PA.  

     She is survived by her son James W. Divelbliss lll, of Needmore, PA and daughter Carlotta M. Bingman, of McConnellsburg, PA.  She is also survived by six grandchildren Brian, Timothy, Joshua, Dennis, Tiffany, Steven and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters Alice L. Williams and Thelma Brown.

     Funeral services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 27th,  with Pastor Erik Sollenberger officiating.  There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service at the funeral home.

     Interment will be at Ebenezer United Methodist Cemetery Needmore, PA.
