Fannie Hann Obituary

     Fannie M. Hann, 73, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Wednesday, May 6th, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Hospital, Harrisburg, PA.

     Fannie was born in Hancock, MD on March 21, 1947, the daughter of the late Thelma (Eader) Mellott and Wilmer  Wyant.  She was the widow of Robert E. Hann whom she married on November 5, 1966 and he passed away on January 11, 1999.

     Mrs. Hann was a member of the Sideling Hill Christian Church in Needmore, PA where she also served on the Ladies Auxiliary.  She had worked at Sagner Sewing Factory in McConnellsburg, PA, then Handy Andy's in McConnellsburg, PA and at Waring in McConnellsburg, PA before retiring.  In her younger years, she really enjoyed bowling and became a member of the Mason-Dixon Hall of Fame.  Fannie loved her family and her church family but her greatest joy was her grandchildren. 

     Fannie is survived by daughter Laura L. Hoffman, of McConnellsburg, PA, sons Harry P. (husband of Laura) Houck, of McConnellsburg, PA, Brian E. Hann, of McConnellsburg, PA, Burden E. (husband of Jennifer) Hann, of McConnellsburg, PA, sisters W. Jean (wife of Ralph) Hann, of Warfordsburg, PA, Christine (wife of John) Lusaitis, of Voorhes, NJ, Hilda (wife of Jeff) Wright, of Lansdale, PA, Delores Hughes, of Ohio, brother James Stevens, of Wells Tannery, PA, grandchildren Robbie Hoffman, of McConnellsburg, PA, Parker and Matthew Hann.  She was preceded in death by sisters Margaret Easton and Laura Mae Mellott.

     Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a private service was held with Pastor William Swope officiating.  Interment at Asbury United Methodist Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
