Doris M. Sheeder

  Doris M. Sheeder, 81, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Wednesday, August 21st, 2019 at her residence.

     Doris was born in McConnellsburg, PA on May 19, 1938, the daughter of the late Irene (Schooley) and Charles  Harris.

     She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in McConnellsburg, PA and was a case worker at the Department of Public Welfare in McConnellsburg, PA  until retiring in 1997.  Doris enjoyed painting pictures and spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.

     Doris is survived by son Terry L. (husband of Kim) Sheeder, of McConnellsburg, PA, daughters Pam L. Hollenshead, of McConnellsburg, PA, Jacque I. (wife of Kenny) Brumbaugh, of Harrisonville, PA, sister Jane Souders, of Waynesboro, PA and three grandchildren.  Doris was preceded in death by brother Bill Harris and grandson Jordan Hess.

     Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 24th, 2019  with Pastor Neil Ray officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before the service on Saturday.

     Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.
