Darryl R. Kipe

 Darryl R. Kipe, 63, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the  Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA. 

     Darryl was born in Waynesboro, PA on May 11, 1958, a son of the late Evelyn B. (Seville) and Richard E. Kipe.  He was the husband of Eugenia L. (Hann) Kipe, whom he married on February 18, 1978.

     Darryl was a Quality Control Technician at JLG Industries, McConnellsburg, PA for forty four years before retiring.  He also owned and operated Kipe's Tax Service in McConnellsburg, PA.  He was a member of the Needmore Bible Church, Needmore, PA.  He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

     In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Beth A. (wife of Bobby) Lynn, of McConnellsburg, PA, Cala S. High, of Denton, TX, sisters Debra R. (wife of Leroy) Fagley, of Harrisonville, PA and Doreen (companion of Steve Shoemaker) Bowers, of Hubert, NC.  He is also survived by three grandchildren; Benjamin C., Isaac A., and Eva K. High.

     There will be a memorial service held at Needmore Bible Church, Needmore, PA, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 28th,  with Pastor Doug Poffenberger officiating. There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service at the church.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society-Hope Lodge 125 Lucy Ave Hummelstown, PA  17036. 

     Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
