Charlotte R. Crouse

     Charlotte R. Crouse, 81, of Hustontown, PA, passed away Friday, October 29th, at UPMC  Community Osteopathic, Harrisburg, PA. 

     Charlotte was born in Hustontown, PA on February 29, 1940, a daughter of the late Ruby (Strait) and Vaughn  Barnett.  She was the widow of Morris  E. Crouse, whom she married on June 12, 1959.  He preceded her in death on October 1, 2015.

     She was a member of Hustontown United Methodist Church, Hustontown, PA.  Charlotte worked at the sewing factory in Hustontown and Spring Run until her retirement.  She was a very active member of the Hustontown Volunteer Fire Company and she enjoyed being with her family.

   She is survived by her daughter Pam (wife of Ed) Karczewski, of Hustontown, PA, sister Linda (wife of Phillip) Fix, of Hustontown, PA.  She is also survived by two grandchildren; Nathan (husband of Madison) Karczewski of McConnellsburg, PA, Emily (wife of Wyatt) Gearhart of Lemasters, PA and two great grandchildren Oaklyn and Odin Gearhart.  She was preceded in death by son Loni Crouse, sister Lois McGowan and two infant brothers.

     There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, November 2nd from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, with a funeral service being held at 7 PM with Pastor Delmas Bard officiating. 

     Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Charlotte.
