C. Ellwood Sexton

C. Ellwood Sexton, 79, of Needmore, PA. passed away on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, at his home on, Sipes Mill Rd. in Licking Creek Twp.

He was born in Baltimore, MD. on September 17, 1944, a son of the late Mary Margaret (Adcock) and Clarence A. Sexton.

On February 20, 1965, he married his wife Marjorie A. (Mellott), who preceded him in death on March 23, 2018.

He worked as an Engineer and Draftsman at JLG Manufacturing for more than 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and liked spending time in the garden. He also enjoyed watching the Baltimore Ravens.

 He is survived by daughters: JoAnn D. widow of Michael Chilcote, McConnellsburg; daughter- Erica Sexton, of Needmore; grandchildren: Jonathan Chilcote, Robert Shehan, Elizabeth Shehan-Hussein, Michael Chilcote Jr., Lindsey New, and Chastidy Chilcote; along with 13 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 10-11 AM, at the Sideling Hill Christian Church, Licking Creek Twp., PA.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 11 AM at the Sideling Hill Christian Church with Pastor William Swope officiating.

Interment at Sideling Hill Christian Cemetery, Licking Creek Twp., PA.
