William "Bill" C. Barnhart, 77, of Warfordsburg, PA, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024, at his residence. Bill was born in Warfordsburg, PA on June 8, 1947, a son of the late William and Mildred Ruth (Mellott) Barnhart. He was the husband of Ruby F. (Miller) Barnhart, who he married on September 18, 1965. In his early years, he enjoyed truck pulling. Bill was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He was a very hard worker, between the farm, welding for others and working at JLG as a supervisor for over forty years, he always kept busy. He always had time for his grandchildren, who he loved dearly. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Carl (husband of Tina) Barnhart, of Needmore, PA, his sister, Mary Cromwell, of Needmore, PA and his brother Roger Barnhart, of Fort Loudon. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Amanda (wife of John) Lambert, of VA, Alisha (wife of Tim) Rollins, of Hancock, MD and Logan Barnhart, of Needmore, PA. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Delores Barling and Carol Hollinshead. A graveside service will be held at the Warfordsburg Presbyterian Cemetery, Warfordsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 12, 2024, with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating.
