Walter Carl Hill

Walter "Carl" Hill, 86, of Needmore, PA passed away Tuesday, February 18th, 2014 at his residence. Carl was born in Needmore, PA on June 30, 1927, the son of the late Walter J. and Mamie F. (Mellott) Hill.  He was the widower of Alma M. (Truax) Hill whom he married on December 20, 1945 and she passed away on July 18, 2000. Mr. Hill was a member of the Webster Mills Free Brethren Church, McConnellsburg, PA, was a school bus contractor for the Southern Fulton School District for over forty-seven years and also was a farmer. He is survived by Sons Willard C. (husband of Susan) Hill of Needmore, PA, Coy D. (husband of Brenda) Hill of Needmore, PA, Brother Herman L. Hill of Needmore, PA, Grandchildren Amy Evans, Natasha Hampton, Tess Burkett, Chad  Myers and two great grandchildren. Religious Service at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren, Needmore, PA, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 22nd,  2014 with Pastor Roger Truax and Pastor Mac Miller officiating. Interment at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Needmore, PA. There will be visitation on Friday. February 21st, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM. at Howard L.
