Virginia Lee Mellott

Virginia Lee Mellott, 93, of Needmore, PA passed away Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 at Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care, McConnellsburg, PA. Virginia was born in Baltimore, MD on November 15, 1928, the daughter of the late Bertie G. (Kenley) and W. Webster Mellott.  She was the widow of Gerald V. Mellott whom she married on March 28, 1948 and he passed away on July 29, 2018. Mrs. Mellott was  owner and operator of the G. & V. Diner in Needmore, PA during the 1960's, sold Prudential Insurance and also was a loving mother and housewife.  Virginia spent several years helping with the Fulton County Fair Association, the Hancock Lioness Club and the Fulton County Medical Center Auxiliary. She is survived by son Larry G. (husband of Patricia A.) Mellott, of Needmore, PA and granddaughter Kimberly D. (wife of Matt) Cramer. Graveside services will be private. Interment at Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Needmore, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Virginia to the Pleasant Ridge Church of the Brethren, 2507 Pleasant Ridge Road, Needmore, PA 17238. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
