Virginia G. (Cutshall) Crouse

Virginia G. Crouse (Cutshall), 86, formerly of Big Cove Tannery, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA. Virginia was born in Hancock, Iowa, on August 29, 1927, the daughter of the late Roy and Grace (Lodge) Cutshall.  She was the wife of the late Wayne H. Crouse, Sr. whom she married on December 21, 1943.  He preceded her in death on October 12, 2013. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Big Cove Tannery, PA, and Eastern Star. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Judith G. Crouse, of Greencastle, PA, and her son Wayne H. Crouse, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Lebanon, PA.  She is also survived by a grandson, Attorney Jacob W. Crouse and his wife, Attorney Kelly T. Crouse, of Louisville, KY.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanne Case. Funeral service will be held at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., 873 Lincoln Way East, McConnellsburg, PA 17233, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2014, with Pastor Neil Ray officiating.  There will be a visitation held one hour before the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA, following the service.
