Veryle J. Hann

Veryle J. Hann, 84, of Needmore, PA passed away Saturday, December 11th, 2010 at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA. Veryle was born in Needmore, PA on August 11, 1926, the son of the late Charley E. and Irene M. (Mellott) Hann.  He was the husband of Olive E. (Schooley) Hann whom he married in June, 1948. Mr. Hann served in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman Second Class during WWII and he retired from the Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, PA. In addition to his wife, he is survived by Sister Maxine McClure of North Carolina and Brother Herman Hann of Needmore, PA.  Preceded in death by brothers Guy, Norman, Chalmer and David Hann. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 15th, 2010  with Pastor William Bair officiating. Interment at Siloam United Methodist Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA. There will be visitation on Tuesday, December 14th, 2010 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
