Troy D. Crouse

Troy D. Crouse, 81, a resident of the Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care Unit and formerly of Big Cove Tannery, PA passed away Friday, October 2nd, 2015 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Troy was born in Harrisonville, PA on May 16, 1934, the son of the late Alta G. (Mellott) and Donald J. Crouse.  He was the widower of Helen D. (Everts) Crouse whom he married on January 19, 1957 and she passed away on January 16, 2013. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church in Warfordsburg, PA, the Fulton County Sportsmen's League in Big Cove Tannery, PA, had worked at the Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, PA and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Crouse is survived by Daughters Doris Simpson of Big Cove Tannery, PA, Karen Buterbaugh of Harrisonville, PA, Sons Richard Crouse of McConnellsburg, PA, Gary Crouse of Needmore, PA, Randy Crouse of Big Cove Tannery, PA, Michael Crouse of Big Cove Tannery, PA, Sister Alma D. Plessinger of Warfordsburg, PA, thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by sisters Martha Pittman, Audrey Peck, Freida Mannetti, Orpha Ritchey, Natalie Guessford, brothers Calvin and Morris Crouse. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 7th, 2015  with Pastor Denver Plessinger officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 2 to 8 PM at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
