Timothy "Tim" A. Mellott, 64, of Needmore, PA, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, in Needmore, PA. 

Tim was born on September 4, 1961, in McConnellsburg, PA. He was the son of the late Willis A. and Rae B. (Bookheimer) Mellott. 

Tim graduated from Southern Fulton High School in Warfordsburg, PA, in 1979 and was a longtime, dedicated member of the Southern Fulton School Board. He had a passion for dirt track racing and sprint car racing, enjoyed hunting and cooking, and loved all sports; especially football. Tim loved music and cherished his family; especially his grandchildren. 

He is survived by his sons, Darin Mellott, of Needmore, PA and Wesley (husband of Susan) Mellott, of Ambler, PA. He is also survived by his brother, Toby A. (husband of Mitzi) Mellott, of Charlotte, NC, three grandchildren, Graham Mellott, Paisley Mellott, Oakley Mellott and his grand dog Minnie.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.

Funeral services will be held at the Pleasant Ridge Brethren Church, Needmore, PA, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 24, 2026, with Pastor Mac Miller officiating. There will also be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will be at Pleasant Ridge Brethren Cemetery, Needmore, PA.
