Thomas Ormond "To" Humbert, Jr.

Thomas Ormond "TO" Humbert, Jr., 96, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care, McConnellsburg, PA.

Thomas was born in Somerset, PA on November 16, 1926, a son of the late Inez L. (Boyer) and Thomas O. Humbert, Sr.  He was the widower of Madeline E. (Mellott) Humbert, whom he married on May 8, 1948.  She preceded him in death on September 10, 2009.

He is survived by son Dale O. (husband of Cheryl) Humbert, of Big Cove Tannery, PA, daughter Missy H. (wife of Bill) Cover, of Chambersburg, PA, sisters Rhoda Duke, of Chambersburg, PA and Mona Lynn Menner, of Chambersburg, PA.  He is also survived by three grandchildren; Chris Humbert, Darcy Thompson, Nick Cover and a great grandson Zachary Humbert.  He was preceded in death by sisters Ruth Lynch and Lois Crouse.

Funeral Services will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 15th, 2023 with Deacon Meredith Shives officiating.  There will one hour of visitation held prior to the service at the funeral home.  There will also be an Eastern Star service held at the beginning of the funeral service.  Interment will be at Union Cemetery McConnellsburg, PA.
