Thomas W. Mellott

Thomas W. Mellott, 55, of Harrisonville, PA passed away Tuesday, July 28th, 2015 at his residence. Tom was born in McConnellsburg, PA on December 28, 1959, the son of the late Thelma R. (Truax) and Fred E. Mellott. He was a member of the F.O.E. #4274 in Harrisonville, PA, was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR races. Tom is survived by Sisters Althea (wife of Carl) Kendall of McConnellsburg, PA, Joan (wife of Tom) Kendall of McConnellsburg, PA, Betty (wife of Lee) Clark of Needmore, PA, Shirley (wife of Roy) Miller of McConnellsburg, PA, Ann (wife of Ron) Shade of Mechanicsburg, PA, Nancy (wife of Ferron) Cromwell of Harrisonville, PA, Darlene (wife of Clair, Jr.) Lininger of Needmore, PA, Brothers Fred (husband of Nina) Mellott of McConnellsburg, PA, Jackie (husband of Charlene) Mellott of Warfordsburg, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by brother Kenneth Mellott, three nephews and one niece. Visitation will be Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 2 to 8 PM   at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
