Steven E. Thomas

Steven E. Thomas, 55, of  Schneck Rd. Wells Tannery, PA died Friday, April 8th, 2011 at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, PA. Steven was born in McConnellsburg, PA on March 19, 1956, the son of the late  Melvin E. and Nancy L. (Mellott) Thomas Henry who survives him of Wells Tannery, PA. He was the husband of Judy M. (Pemberton) Thomas, whom he married in June of 1980. He worked as a Foreman for Penn Dot for 28 years.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagels, Harrisonville, PA and  the Angus Cattlemans Assc.  Steve enjoyed hunting and raising cattle. Along with his wife and mother he is survived by a daughter Shannon L. Mellott, wife of J.R. of Hustontown, PA, and 2 sisters Susan Thomas of Wells Tannery, PA and Barbara Thomas of Virginia.  He is also survived  by one grandson. Funeral service will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM with one hour of visitation before the service at the funeral home on Monday, April 11th,  with Pastor Bill Kuhn officiating. Interment at Wells Valley Methodist Cemetery Wells Tannery, Pa. There will be visitation on Sunday, April 10th from 2 PM to  8 PM with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 PM.   at the Howard L.
