Stephen C. Sipes, 55, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026. 

Stephen was born on February 18, 1971 in Seoul, South Korea. He was the son of Kyong "Kim" (Pok), of McConnellsburg, PA and the late Larry E. Sipes. 

Stephen was a 1989 graduate of McConnellsburg High School and later graduated from Penn State Technical School, where he studied robotic welding and fabrication. He worked for many years at Frick in Waynesboro, PA before joining the Union in Rockville, MD. Stephen enjoyed lifting weights, fast cars, motorcycles, movies and spending time with his dogs. He especially loved his family and cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Morgan L. (wife of Andrew) Rosenberg of McConnellsburg, PA, and Rowan and Lillian of McConnellsburg, PA. He is also survived by his sister, Lisa Sipes of McConnellsburg, PA; his nephew, Jackson E. Cornelius of McConnellsburg, PA; and grandchildren, Noah, Adalynn, and Daisy. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, with Pastor Jeremy Fletcher officiating. There will be one hour of visitation held prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will be at Siloam United Methodist Cemetery, Harrisonville, PA.
