Shirley Ann Straley

Shirley Ann Straley, 73, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 at her residence.

Shirley was born in Greencastle, PA on February 16, 1947, a daughter of the late Lily M. (Starliper) and Paul E. Shindle.

She is survived by  her sons Richard E. Rogers, of McConnellsburg, PA, Kenny E. (companion of Christina French) Straley, of Mercersburg, PA and daughter Julie A. Lininger, of McConnellsburg, PA.  She is also survived by a grandson Anthony M. Straley of Mercersburg, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by brothers Donald E. and Carl W. Shindle.

Shirley worked at various restaurants throughout her life.  She was the type of person that never met a stranger, she always enjoyed life and tried to have fun.  She enjoyed the outdoors, especially watching wildlife, going bowling and traveling, even if they were just day trips.  Shirley loved her entire family very much.

The family of Shirley is hosting a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 2 PM till 4 PM at the Greenhill Sewing Club, 6411 Lincoln Hwy, Harrisonville, PA 17228.

Interment private at convenience of the Family.
