Shirley A. (Matthews) Truax

Shirley A. Truax, 70, a resident of the Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care Unit, McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Friday, March 27th, 2015 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Shirley was born in McConnellsburg, PA on February 6, 1945, the daughter of the late Edna V. (Mathews) and Charles G. Matthews.  She was the wife of John N. Truax whom she married on February 19, 1961. Mrs. Truax was of the Methodist faith and had worked at Waring in McConnellsburg, PA for twenty-one years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by Sons Russell N. Truax of Bedford, PA, Timothy A. Truax, Donnie E. Truax, John N. Truax all of McConnellsburg, PA, Sisters Emma Louise Kerlin of Ft. Littleton, PA, Norma Ricker of McConnellsburg, PA, Patricia Wible of McConnellsburg, PA, Linda Reeder of Hagerstown, MD, Brothers Ronald Matthews of Ft. Littleton, PA, Thomas Matthews of McConnellsburg, PA, Grandchildren Heaven Daniels, Dawson C. Truax and Great Grandchild Ryllin Rodriguez.  Preceded in death by sister Elsie Sipes and brother Richard Matthews. Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the Family.
