Sandra K. Mellott

Sandra K. Mellott, 69, of Big Cove Tannery, PA passed away Saturday, June 1st, 2019 at her residence.

Sandra was born in McConnellsburg, PA on May 4, 1950, the daughter of the late Hilda M. (Sipes) and Robert M. Hill.  She was the wife of G. Alvey  Mellott whom she married on September 2, 1966.

Mrs. Mellott was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Big Cove Tannery, PA and was a homemaker.  Mrs. Mellott was a hard worker who loved to cook for her family, take care of things around her house and gardening.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Wade A. Mellott, of McConnellsburg, PA, John R. (husband of Nancy A.) Mellott, of Big Cove Tannery, PA, sisters Judy (wife of Jack) Sherman, of Wachapreague, VA, Jeanne Hollinshead, of Harrisonville, PA, Barbara (wife of Jack) Garlock, of McConnellsburg, PA, Lisa Doyle, of McConnellsburg, PA, brother Michael (husband of Michelle) Hill, of McConnellsburg, PA, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  Sandra was preceded in death by infant son James R. Mellott and brother Robert "Hammy" Hill.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
