Ruth M. (Fix) Carbaugh

Ruth M. Carbaugh, 82, a resident of the Fulton County Medical Center Extended Care Unit and formerly of Big Cove Tannery, PA passed away Wednesday, July 25th, 2012 at Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, PA. Ruth was born in Ayr Township, PA on November 16, 1929, the daughter of the late Alvin M. and Florence Mae (Harr) Fix.  She was the widow of John T. Carbaugh whom she married on May 5, 1946 and he passed away on April 29, 2010. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Carbaugh is survived by Daughter Linda M. Mellott of McConnellsburg, PA, Son John  A. Carbaugh of Spring Grove, PA, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by sister Louise Fittery, brothers Harry, Richard, Ervin and Robert Fix. Services will be private.
