Roy D. (Deshong) Rhoades

Roy D. (DeShong) Rhoades, 61, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Wednesday, December 2nd,  2015 at his residence. Roy was born in Berkeley Springs, WV on January 11, 1954, the son of Catherine E. (Buterbaugh) DeShong of McConnellsburg, PA and the late Daniel Mosser DeShong. He had worked at Hydro-Pneu in Mercersburg, PA upon retiring. In addition to his mother, he is survived by daughter Charity  (wife of George) (Rhoades)  Casher of McConnellsburg, PA, sons Jason Rhoades of McConnellsburg, PA, Kevin (husband of Julie) Rhoades of Warfordsburg, PA, sisters Bonnie Lynch of McConnellsburg, PA, Lucy Lynch of McConnellsburg, PA, Diane Lochte of McConnellsburg, PA, brothers Denny Rhoades of Greencastle, PA, Thomas "Tuck" DeShong of Hustontown, PA, grandchildren William Casher, Dustin Casher, Erica Hoffman, Jordan Casher, Janelle Appel, Alexis Rhoades, Lucas Rhoades and one expected great granddaughter.  Preceded in death by sisters Cathy DeShong and Betty "Joe" Lynch.
