Rosetta R. (Crosslin) Buterbaugh

Rosetta R. Buterbaugh, 89, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care Unit, McConnellsburg, PA. Rosetta was born in Gans, OK on June 5, 1925, a daughter of the late Jane (Plunkett) and John  H. Crosslin. She was raised by Dillard and Annie Blurton who also preceded her in death. She was the widow of William Gerald Buterbaugh, whom she married on November 6, 1943.  He preceded her in death on February 15, 2003. Rosetta attended Calvary Independent Baptist Church in McConnellsburg, PA and Cito United Methodist Church also in McConnellsburg, PA.  She was a  homemaker and enjoyed writing poems, sewing and spending time with her family. She is survived by  her children; daughter Teresa A. (wife of Leonard) Inman, of Chambersburg, PA, son Ronnie (husband of Nancy) Buterbaugh, of McConnellsburg, PA,  son Johnny  Lee (husband of Barb) Buterbaugh, of Carlisle, PA and son William D. (husband of Barb) Buterbaugh, of McConnellsburg, PA.  She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 16th,  with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating. Visitation will be Sunday 4 to 8 PM.   at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., 873 Lincoln Way East McConnellsburg, PA  17233.  There will also be one hour of visitation held before the service at the funeral home on Monday.
