Rose Catherine Moore

Rose Catherine Moore, 74, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Wednesday, February 3rd, 2016 at her residence. Rose was born in Baltimore, MD on April 21, 1941, the daughter of the late Rose Elizabeth (Taylor) and John J. Karmazyn.  She was the widow of William James Moore whom she married on November 30, 1973 and he passed away on January 3, 2000. Mrs. Moore was a member of the Cito United Methodist Church, McConnellsburg, PA, the American Legion Post #561, McConnellsburg, PA, the McConnellsburg Senior Center and was a homemaker.  She enjoyed crocheting, painting and was a nature lover. Rose is survived by daughters Geri (wife of Joe) Ehrardt of Baltimore, MD, Robin K. (wife of Damir) Drijaca of Seabrook, TX, Dawn M. Wright (wife of Jeffrey Thoms) of Chambersburg, PA, Sherri M. (wife of Shawn) Lynn of McConnellsburg, PA, Hope R. (wife of Allen) Fleece of McConnellsburg, PA, sons Timothy M. Moore of Baltimore, MD, Todd K. (husband of Donna) Ratledge of Hartley, DE, brother Michael J. (husband of Rhea) Karmazyn of Sparrows Point, MD, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by two sons and two grandchildren. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 8th, 2016  with Pastor Robert French, II officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, February 7th, 2016 from 2 to 8 PM   at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Monday at the funeral home. Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.
