Ronald E. Harr, 61, of Needmore, PA passed away Friday, August 2nd, 2013 at University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA.
Ronald was born in Warfordsburg, PA on May 6, 1952, the son of the late David W. and Ethel (Keefer) Harr.
Mr. Harr served in the U.S. Army as a SP4 in the Vietnam War and was a member of the Needmore Volunteer Fire Company where he was with the Rescue Squad. He was a truck driver and also did small engine repairs.
Ronald is survived by Son Kyle E. Harr of Berkeley Springs, WV, Sisters Jane Manley of Needmore, PA, Blanche Pine of Mercersburg, PA, Helene Weller of Warfordsburg, PA, Doris Carbaugh of Warfordsburg, PA, Brother Jobie Harr of Needmore, PA and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sisters Agnes Gress, Grace Souders, brother Kenneth Harr, Sr., half-sisters Hazel Hiles, Betty Chesnut and companion Barbara Stegs.
A Graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 9th, 2013 with Pastor Dick Bernhard officiating.
Military services will be conducted by the Fulton Honor Guard.
