Roger "Buck" D. Mills

Roger "Buck" D. Mills Sr., 65, of  McConnellsburg, PA, died Monday, January 7th, 2013 at his residence. Roger was born in Warfordsburg, PA  on July 31, 1947, the son of the late Harry  and Wavy (Stotler) Mills.  He was the widower of Carol R. (Helman) Mills, whom he married on December 2, 1967.  She preceded him in death on September 5, 2000. He worked at JLG Industries, McConnellsburg, for the past 40 years.  He also enjoyed farming, hunting and cooking. He is survived by son Roger D. Mills Jr. of St. Thomas, PA, daughters Kelly S. Morton of Needmore, PA, Stephanie L. Mills of Warfordsburg, PA,  sisters Mae Tucillo of NY, Peggy McAllister of Hancock, MD, Alice  Younker of Needmore, PA, and Edna Knable of Needmore, PA, brothers Jearl Mills of Shippensburg, PA, Harold E. Mills of Warfordsburg, PA, and Wilbur "John" Peck of Warfordsburg, PA.  He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by sisters; Kathleen Yuen, Julia Truax, Susan L.Peck, an infant sister and a brother Sonny Mills. Funeral service will be held at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 11:00 AM  on Friday, January 11th,  with Rev. William Swope officiating. Interment at Union Cemetery McConnellsburg, PA. There will be visitation on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 4 PM to 8 PM.   at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.
