Robert L. "Bob" Cunningham

Robert   L. "Bob" Cunningham, 92, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 at his residence.

Bob was born in Knobsville, PA on December 7, 1931, a son of the late Evelyn M.  (McLaughlin) and Lewis R. Cunningham.  He was the widower of Betty C. (Knepper) Cunningham, who he married on May 19, 1956.  She preceded him in death on October 29, 2015.

Bob worked in the construction field and was also an electrician throughout his life.  He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He was a member of the McConnellsburg United Methodist Church and the VFW Post 655 McConnellsburg, PA.

He is survived by his sons Gary N. Cunningham, of Lancaster, PA and Tony R. Cunningahm, of Wernersville, PA.  He is also survived by two grandchildren Krystal R. Cunningham of Florida and Chelsea J. Cunningham of Lititz, PA.  He was preceded in death by brothers Fred L. Cunningham and William H. "Bill" Cunningham.

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 6 PM till 8 PM. at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  At  Bob's request, interment services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of "Bob" to the McConnellsburg United Methodist Church, 121 North Second Street McConnellsburg, PA  17233.
