Richard "Mikey" M. Barnett, 52, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025, in McConnellsburg, PA. 

Richard was born on May 3, 1973, in Chambersburg, PA, the son of Richard C. Pool, of Arkansas, and the late Dolores J. Kelly. He was the husband of Angel D. "Martz" Barnett, who he married on February 14, 2008.

He was the kind of man who never hesitated to help anyone in need. Whether it was offering a hand, giving advice, or simply being present. He showed his love through quiet acts of service. He had a gift for bringing joy into any room, always trying to make people laugh and lifting spirits with his humor and warmth. Above all else, he was a devoted father and a loving husband who cared for his family in every way.

He was a God-fearing man whose faith guided his character, his decisions, and the way he treated others. His strong belief carried him through life's challenges and shaped the compassion he extended to everyone around him.

He enjoyed collecting coins, a hobby that reflected his appreciation for history, detail, and the simple joys of life. He also had a deep love for outdoor sports, especially fishing, even when his health limited how much he could do. He loved his three dogs dearly, finding comfort and companionship in their presence. He cherished spending time with his aunts, sharing conversations, laughter, and the deep family bond that meant so much to him.

His kindness, generosity, faith, and the light he brought into the world will never be forgotten.

In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by his daughters; Mackenzie R. Kling, of McConnellsburg, PA, Alexis B. Kling, of McConnellsburg, PA and son; Rylan "Dylan" D. Kling, of McConnellsburg, PA. He is also survived by one grandchild; Brayden Kling and brother; Matthew Kelly, of McConnellsburg, PA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Glenn and Helen Barnett. 

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
