Richard J. Gayo Sr.

Richard J. Gayo Sr., 91, of McConnellsburg, PA and formerly of Baltimore, MD passed away Monday, October 28, 2025, in Shippensburg, PA.

Richard was born on September 10, 1934, in Baltimore, MD. He was the son of the late Joseph Gayo and Ruth (Webb) Straub. He was the husband of the late Patricia A. (Blanch) Gayo, who he married in May of 1953. She preceded him in death on April 2, 1998.

He is survived by his children; Charlene A. Gayo (wife of Douglas Myers), of McConnellsburg, PA, Stephanie M. Tischner, of Glen Burnie, MD, Ann Drain, of Pasadena, MD, Richard J. Gayo Jr, of Chincoteague, VA and Jane F. Eichler, of Red Lion, PA. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Combs and brothers; Robert and Franklin Gayo.

Per Richard's request, there will be no services.
