Rhoda B. (Spade) Woodal

Rhoda B. Woodal, 75, of  Needmore, PA died  Wednesday, May 11th, 2011 at her residence. Rhoda was born in Buck Valley, PA on December 23, 1935, the daughter of the late Harold C. and Rhoda Ellen (Bishop) Spade. She was the widow of Frank D. Woodal Jr., whom she married on July 28, 1956.  He preceded her in death on December 25, 2008.  She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Hancock, MD and she was a  Homemaker. For many years she was the secretary for the Needmore Burial Association. Rhoda enjoyed gardening and reading. She is survived by her son Tommy A. Woodal of Needmore, PA, daughter Tammy E.  Reitober of Needmore, PA, brother Andrew Spade of Virginia Beach, VA, and sister Sylvia Peck of Needmore, PA.  She is also survived by survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by 10 sisters and a grandson George Runyan Religious Service will be held at the Assembly of God, Hancock, MD, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 14th,  with Pastor Donald Preston officiating. Interment at Union Cemetery McConnellsburg, PA. There will be visitation on Friday from 4PM to 8 PM. at the Assembly of God, Hancock, MD. There will also be visitation held one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are being handled by the Howard L.
