Raymond L. Deshong

Raymond L. DeShong, 61, of Saint Thomas, PA, passed away Sunday, March 7th, at his residence.

Raymond was born in McConnellsburg, PA on November 18, 1959, a son of the late Helen G. (Clark) and Lynn D. DeShong.

He retired from the United States Navy after seventeen years of service.  Raymond enjoyed playing soccer, tennis and chess.  He also loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his sister Robin  K. (wife of David) Strode of Marion, NC, niece Pepper Strode and nephews Matthew and Ryan D. Strode, all of North Carolina. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Sideling Hill Christian Cemetery Needmore, PA with Pastor David Strode officiating.

Military honors will be conducted by the Fulton Honor Guard.
