Randy A. Woy

Randy A. Woy, 58, of Defiance, PA, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at his residence.

Randy was born in Harrisburg, PA on May 21, 1967, a son of the late Veryl L. Woy Jr. and Betty E. (Kauffman) Woy.

Randy worked at JLG, McConnellsburg, PA for nearly twenty years. He was a member of the Saxton Sportsman Association. Randy was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a very giving man who enjoyed attending charitable functions. He also enjoyed working and playing on his tractor. Randy loved his family and will be missed by many.

He is survived by daughter; Destiny D. Woy, wife of Daniel Croft, of Defiance, PA, daughter; Chelsy Woy, of Altoona, PA, son; Randy A. Woy Jr., step-daughter; Shalee Woy, of Harrisonville, PA, step-daughter; Summer VanPelt, of Berkeley Springs, WV, sister; Kathy J. (wife of Tim) Gelvin, of Hustontown, PA, sister; Pam Sward, of Shirleysburg, PA, brother; Chuck Woy, six grandchildren, and Dawn Woy Flasher. He was preceded in death by his grandson; Coen Lazor.

There will be a visitation held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. The family requests the omission of flowers and to consider a memorial contribution to a charity of your choice.
