Phillip A. Mellott

Phillip A. Mellott, 41, of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Tuesday, June 16th, 2015 at his residence. Phillip was born in Chambersburg, PA on August 27, 1973, the son of Teresa C. (Hendershot (wife of Allen) Brown of McConnellsburg, PA and the late Woodrow H. Mellott who died in 2003.  He was the husband of Bridget L. (Burrall) Mellott whom he married May 26, 2007. Mr. Mellott was of the Protestant faith, was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, worked at A & S Kinnard formerly HJ Culler, Inc as a truck driver and enjoyed snow mobiling, hunting and tractor pulls. In additon to his wife and parents, he is survived by Sons Jordan William Mellott of McConnellsburg, PA, Westin James Mellott of McConnellsburg, PA, Sister Emilie J. (wife of Eric) Ketterman of Biglerville, PA, Brothers Bryan E. (husband of Norma) Brown of McConnellsburg, PA, John A. Brown of Flagstaff, AZ, Maternal Grandfather William "Short" (husband of Emma) Hendershot of McConnellsburg, PA, Paternal Grandmother Alice E. Mellott of McConnellsburg, PA, Uncle James C. (wife of Cindy) Hendershot of McConnellsburg, PA, Aunt Norma (wife of Bob) Vores of McConnellsburg, PA and Aunt Jayne (wife of Denny) Buterbaugh of McConnellsburg, PA, Aunt Cindy Mellott of Mechanicsburg, PA, two nephews and one niece.  Preceded in death by maternal grandmother Clara Jean Hendershot and paternal grandfather Norman A. Mellott. Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 20th, 2015  with Jeremy Fletcher officiating.
