Peter F. Bogetti

Peter F. Bogetti, 88, of Harrisonville, PA passed away Thursday, May 11th, 2017 at his residence. Peter was born in Shamokin, PA on January 4, 1929, the son of the late Laura (Berger) and Peter L. Bogetti.  He was the husband of Victoria G. (Hess) Bogetti whom he married on October 16, 1999. Mr. Bogetti was a member of the American Legion Post #561, McConnellsburg, PA, the VFW Post #655, McConnellsburg, PA, the American Legion Post #517, Mercersburg, PA and the F.O.E #4274, Harrisonville, PA.  He retired from the Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant in 1969 and also from AT&T.  Peter enjoyed fishing, visiting casinos, hunting ducks and deer. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Peter L. (husband of Linda Lewis) Bogetti of South Bethany, Delaware, William G. (husband of Patricia) Bogetti of Magnolia, Delaware, Travis A. (husband of Lisa) Bogetti of Bear, Delaware, grandchildren Brian (husband of Shenna) Bogetti, Anthony Bogetti, Ethan Bogetti, Eli Bogetti, step-grandchildren Dustin Cross, Brooke Cross, Dylan Cross and great granddaughter Mackenzie Bogetti.  Preceded in death by step-daughter Paula Cross, first wife Rose C. (Leach) Bogetti, sister Florence Ramage, brother-in-law Alexander Ramage and grandson Brandon W. Bogetti. Religious Service at Sideling Hill Christian Church, Needmore, PA at 12:00 PM on Monday, May 15th, 2017  with Pastor William Swope officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, May 14th, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA.  There will also be visitation one hour before the service on Monday at the church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Military services will be conducted by the Fulton Honor Guard. Arrangements were made by the Howard L.
