Paul M. Sipes, Jr.

Paul M. Sipes, Jr., 88, a resident of the Fulton County Medical Center Long Term Care Facility and formerly of McConnellsburg, PA passed away Sunday, June 2nd, 2019.

Paul was born in McConnellsburg, PA on November 12, 1930, the son of the late Catherine E. (Zeis) Sipes and Paul M. Sipes, Sr.  He was the widower of Jenny A. "Anna" Sipes whom he married on December 12, 1956 and she passed away on May 7, 2017.

Mr. Sipes served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, attended the Hustontown Church of God, had worked at Grove Worldwide in Greencastle, PA and also at the Department of Forestry in McConnellsburg, PA.  Paul loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years.

He is survived by daughter-in-law Diane Sipes, of McConnellsburg, PA, sisters Mary Gordon, of McConnellsburg, PA, Nancy Seville, of McConnellsburg, PA, Ellen Needy, of Greencastle, PA, Linda Sipes, of McConnellsburg, PA, Sharon Daniels, of Harrisonville, PA, two grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  Paul was preceded in death by son Larry R. Sipes, sisters Elizabeth McCulloch, Janet Seville, brother Frank Sipes and granddaughter Nicole Marsh.

Religious Service at Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., McConnellsburg, PA at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 6th, 2019  with Pastor Willis Swope officiating.

Visitation will be one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Interment at Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.

Military services will be conducted by the Fulton Honor Guard.
