Patricia Anne (Shockey) Kendall

Patricia Anne Kendall, 80, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Sunday, April 20th, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, PA. Patricia was born in Waynesboro, PA on March 4, 1934, a daughter of the late Ethel Mae (Hartman)  Shockey, her adoptive father, Jacob Merle Shockey, and biological father Edward Samuel Kriner. She was the widow of William "Bill" Logan Kendall, whom she married on December 21, 1958.  He preceded her in death on April 12, 2006. She was a homemaker, devoting her life to her family, especially her children and grandchildren.  Patricia loved reading and was a dedicated patron of the Fulton County Library. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Laura Hann of Gibsonia, PA, son Kurt Gibson Kendall (husband of Beth) of McConnellsburg, PA, son Travis Logan Kendall (husband of Amanda) of McConnellsburg, PA, and her five grandchildren; Benjamin Kendall, Alexander Kendall, Ainsley Kendall, Jamey DeShong and Whitney DeShong. A Memorial Service will be held at the  Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc., McConnellsburg, PA, at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 26th,  with Pastor Bill Bair officiating. Friends are invited to call on Saturday 10 AM to 12 PM.  at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home, Inc., 873 Lincoln Way East McConnellsburg, PA  17233. Interment will be private at the convenience of the Family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fulton County Library 227 North First St. McConnellsburg, PA  17233.
